Dayanand Science College is one of the leading college in this region offering Industrial Chemistry at graduate level. The department of Industrial Chemistry is established in the year 1978.The three years curriculum of this subject is framed by Dr. Mashalkar, Scientist. Dr. K.A. Thakar Prof. and Head of Chemistry Dr. BabasahebAmbedkarMarathwada University, Aurangabad and G.M. Deshmukh head department of Chemistry, Dayanand Science College, Latur.
Based on Industrial Production, Industrial Economics, Industrial Pollution and Management.
The theoretical part of the syllabus teaches in classroom and practical experience given from the various industries like sandwich course. So this subject become helpful for the students to start his own business, as well as to get the job easily in various industries like chemical, ceramics, fertilizer, drugs and dyes, pesticides, cement etc. The department has its large contribution in the progress of the college following were the HOD’s who contributed their valuable service to the department.
